Brooke has been teaching barre since 2019.

She found barre when she was studying to become a physical therapist, and experienced it as an exciting way to burn energy, regulate her body and mind, and build strength and mobility in an intentional and accessible format. She especially loves the ways that a barre class can really move the needle to building muscle strength, functional capacity, and resilience.

Brooke’s training and work as a physical therapist makes her especially equipped to teach anatomy in the context of barre teacher trainings. She loves to nerd out not just on naming parts of the body, but figuring how the whole system operates together. Anatomy is what shapes her sequencing, cues, and adjustments in class, and she brings that expertise to training other teachers so that they can find their own creativity and fascination with the body.
